Adding Nameservers in LxAdmin/Kloxo

Adding Nameservers on VPS (LxAdmin)

This tutorial will help you in adding a Name Sever for your VPS by using LxAdmin/Kloxo

  • Login to your LxAdmin/Kloxo
  • Goto ‘IPAdresses’ under ‘Resources’ Tab

Check for the IPs assigned to your machine.

  • Now, goto ‘DNS Template’ under ‘Resources’ Tab

  • Click on ‘Add DNS Template’ Tab

Enter the details :

Template Name : Yourdomain (without .TLD)
WebIPAdress : 12.12.12.12 (Your IP Address)
Mail IPAdress : 12.12.12.12 (Usually same as your WebIPAdress)
Primary DNS : ns1.yourdomain.com
Secondary DNS : ns2.yourdomain.com


Now goto your Domain Registrar and register the Nameservers & IP with them.
Afterwards, wait for minimum 20 minutes and then, try to Ping your Domain.
If you get a response, then Congratulations, you have sucessfully added the Name Servers for your VPS.
